Glasgow Event - University of Glasgow, Acting as a Catalyst for Regeneration.

With a change of pace in 2019, we hosted a our Summer Event in Glasgow and were delighted to be supported by Ann Allen, Executive Director of Estates and Commercial Services at The University of Glasgow. Ann was recently awarded an MBE in the New Year’s Honours list and joined us to discuss how the University is acting as a Catalyst for Regeneration of the City.

As well as the big moves being made by the University, linking further across the city, Ann also revealed how the ongoing changes to the main campus are really starting to reshape the delivery of education. In what was a very thought provoking talk, Ann presented how the University is working with other major bodies in Glasgow, to regenerate and rejuvenate previously overlooked zones.
