On Thursday 2nd May, ten keen teams gathered in the offices of 39 Essex Chambers to battle it out in YPiC London’s first quiz night! Led brilliantly by Quizmaster Millie, the evening was filled with rounds that challenged our intellect, engineering abilities, and tastebuds.
The teams gave it their best and there was plenty of friendly competition and witty team names, and some highly architectural spaghetti towers built. Over six rounds, supplemented by three tough team tasks - who knew so many cheeses sound like service stations? - a great evening was had by all, with plenty of networking opportunities across the teams.
There could only be one winner however, and while Crash Bam Wallop gave them a good run for their money, our first ever YPiC Quiz Night winners are Building Blokes, representing our sponsor HKA. Congratulations to them and all who participated!
The evening was a resounding success, raising a phenomenal £1,920 for CRASH, YPiC’s charity partner. Huge thanks to everyone who joined us, and we can’t wait to see you at our next event!
